Luís Franqueira is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and quality assurance. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering - Developer Experience at N26 since May 2021, Luís oversees strategy and team management while enhancing collaboration between engineering and product management. Previous roles include Engineering Manager in Developer Experience and Observability at N26, where Luís led development teams to improve operational efficiency and maintain critical observability tools. Additionally, experience at DefinedCrowd Corp. as a Lead Software Engineer involved managing a team and ensuring project delivery and compliance. As a co-founder of Agile Connect®, Luís promoted Lean and Agile methodologies, further supporting a culture of continuous improvement across diverse teams. With a background in software engineering and quality assurance dating back to 2013, Luís holds a Licentiate degree in Computer Science from Universidade do Minho.
