Ondrej Burkert

Ondrej Burkert is a Principal Engineer at N26, overseeing extensive backend engineering and architectural initiatives since January 2017, following roles as Tech Lead and Senior Software Engineer. With experience in a diverse tech stack, including Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and AWS, Ondrej has led teams to improve system stability and expand market reach. Previously, Ondrej worked as a Software Developer Consultant at techdev Solutions GmbH, a Senior Java Developer at Deutsche Börse, a Programmer at OKsystem, and was a core developer for the Pogamut 2 project at Charles University. Ondrej holds a Master's degree in Theoretical Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in General Computer Science from Charles University.
