Ursula Cervantes

Ursula Cervantes is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in web engineering and a strong focus on empowering young women in technology. Currently serving as a Senior Web Engineer at N26 since March 2020, Ursula co-founded WarmiLab, a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching computer programming to girls aged 12 to 17. Previous roles include Lead Web Engineer at Scotiabank, where performance improvements significantly enhanced web application efficiency, and Software Engineer at Verizon, where migrations and application developments were successfully executed. Ursula has contributed to various tech communities through talks at events such as Google I/O Extended Lima and TEDxTukuy, promoting women's involvement in technology. Educational qualifications include a degree in Software Engineering from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas and additional leadership training from Universidad de Ingeniería & Tecnología - UTEC.
