Peter Kilpe

Peter Kilpe has extensive work experience in various leadership and creative roles. Peter is currently the CEO of N2K Networks. Previously, they worked as the CEO and Executive Editor of The CyberWire and as the CEO/Creative Director of Pratt Street Media. Peter also served as the Chief Creative Officer of CyberPoint International. Prior to that, Peter worked at SRA, a CSRA company, where they led a multidisciplinary team and provided design, marketing, and communications services. Peter also worked at RABA Technologies as the Director of Interactive Media, focusing on applying art and design to technology challenges. Before that, they led their own design office, Peter Kilpe and Associates, where they served as the Principal Designer and Design Director. Peter started their career as a Freelance Designer and later had internships in architecture and industrial design.

Peter Kilpe attended Rhode Island School of Design from 1986 to 1990 and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a focus on Graphic Design. During the same period, from 1988 to 1990, they also attended Brown University, where they pursued studies in Archaeology and Middle Egyptian Hieroglyphic Writing, although they did not obtain a specific degree from this institution.

In terms of additional certifications, Peter Kilpe received a certification as a Private Pilot for Air Single Engine Land (ASEL) and Instrument Airplane from the Federal Aviation Administration in November 2008.
