Dave Sherrill has had a diverse range of work experiences in the insurance industry. Dave served as the President/CEO of Sherrill Insurance Brokerage, Inc. since 1993. In 2006, they became the Executive Director of NABIP Florida, where they focused on advocating for effective legislation and professional standards in the insurance marketplace. More recently, in 2023, Dave became the Owner and Managing Director of Kapsher Consulting LLC.
Dave Sherrill attended Bradley Bourbonnais Community High School from 1983 to 1987. Dave then went on to Kankakee Community College from 1987 to 1988 before transferring to Valencia College, where they studied Business/Commerce from 1988 to 1992. Dave also holds a certification in Health and Life Insurance from the State of Florida.

EDUCATION + ETHICS + ADVOCACY NABIP Florida is a state chapter of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals, a non-profit organization of health insurance professionals concentrating in Employer and Group Health & Wellness Benefits, Individual Health Insurance and Medicare Insurance. Our membership is organized in 9 local chapters around the state of Florida. We focus on continuing education, professional ethics, legislative impact, and opportunities to meet experts in our field. Our local chapters hold regular monthly events and our state hosts three annual events, Day on the Hill in Tallahassee, a 2-Day Benefits & Medicare Symposium. Please come join us!
