Douglas A. Knight

Douglas A. Knight is a Research and Development Chemist at Nabors Industries since January 2022, focusing on the fabrication of novel materials for hydrogen storage using high-pressure reactor systems. Prior to this role, Douglas served as a Fuel Chemistry Consultant at myFC AB, optimizing hydrogen delivery cartridges for fuel cell systems, and as a Principal Engineer at Intelligent Energy, where significant advancements in hydrogen delivery cartridge design were achieved. Douglas possesses extensive experience from postdoctoral positions at Savannah River National Laboratory and Oak Ridge National Laboratory, specializing in the synthesis and characterization of complex metal hydrides for energy applications. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Iowa State University.
