Sophia Chaale

Sophia Chaale has a solid and diverse work experience in the field of education and instructional design. Sophia is currently working as Director of Education and Training at the National Association for College Admission Counseling, where they have been since 2020. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Instructional Designer at the same organization from 2020 to 2023.

Before joining the National Association for College Admission Counseling, Sophia worked as a Senior Instructional Design Project Manager at the Association for Talent Development (ATD) starting from 2019 until 2020. Sophia also gained experience as an Elearning Designer at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences from 2018 to 2019 and as an Instructional Designer Manager at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) from 2017 to 2018.

Sophia Chaale's earlier experiences include the role of a Learning Designer at the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) from 2014 to 2017, where they designed and developed elearning and classroom-based programs. Sophia also worked as a Human Capital Consultant at Deloitte from 2013 to 2014, collaborating on the evaluation and development of training programs. Prior to that, they held the positions of Platform Manager and Senior Analyst at CEB from 2010 to 2013, and e-Learning Specialist at the Society for Human Resource Management from 2009 to 2010.

Sophia Chaale completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from James Madison University in 2007. Sophia then pursued a Master of Science in Education degree with a focus on Adult Education and Human Resource Development, also at James Madison University, from 2007 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Sophia obtained a Mobile Learning Certificate from the ASTD institution in March 2013.
