Gabriel Trujillo

Gabriel (Gabe) Trujillo, Ed.D, serves as the Superintendent of Nacogdoches Independent School District since March 2020, following their role as Area Superintendent at Grand Prairie ISD from July 2013 to April 2020, where responsibilities included supervising PreK-12 campus leadership and offering critical advisement for instructional and operational success. Prior experience includes positions as Chief of School and Director of Secondary Education, along with serving as Principal at Byrd Middle School and Fairmedows Elementary. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University-Commerce, an Executive Coaching Leadership Certificate from Rice Business, and various graduate certifications and degrees in education from institutions such as Harvard Graduate School of Education and Texas Tech University.
