Larissa Philpot-Brown

Larissa Philpot-Brown, AICP, currently serves as a Board Member at Nacogdoches Medical Center since January 2022 and has been the President and CEO of the Nacogdoches Economic Development Corporation since April 2017. From October 2003 to April 2017, Larissa held various positions within the City of Nacogdoches, including Planning Director, where responsibilities included the administration of zoning and subdivision ordinances, ordinance drafting and amendment, long-range planning, economic development, and grant administration. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Environmental Science and Public Administration obtained from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from the same institution.
