Gemma Goacher

Gemma Goacher currently serves as the Head of Quality and Safeguarding at Nacro since March 2021. Prior to this, Gemma held various leadership roles at St Mungo's from September 2015 to March 2021, including Regional Head, where oversight of a £2m operation involved enhancing managerial standards across a team of 90 staff, improving outcomes for adults with support needs. Earlier experience includes managing a Tenancy Sustainment Team, providing support to 850 individuals across North London, and leading diverse outreach teams in Brent. Gemma’s career started at Dacorum Borough Council, where leadership of temporary accommodation and housing allocations demonstrated the ability to manage efficient operational teams. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws in Criminal Law and Criminal Justice from Birkbeck, University of London, and a BSc in International Politics from Prifysgol Aberystwyth University.
