Celine Schmidt is an accomplished visual communications professional with extensive experience in graphic design and storytelling. Since May 2018, Celine has served as the Visual Communications Manager at the National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO), where responsibilities include developing high-quality visual materials to effectively inform and mobilize cities towards better transportation design. Prior roles include positions at WaterAid America as a Design Associate and a Design + Research Intern, where Celine contributed to the nonprofit's visual presence and conducted research to enhance design strategy. Additional experience encompasses internships at the Participatory Budgeting Project, Brown University, Southern Environmental Law Center, and the National Aquarium, showcasing a diverse skill set in designing engagement materials, creating animations, and directing documentary films. Celine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Science and Society and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Brown University and Rhode Island School of Design, respectively.
