Courtney Bailey

Courtney Bailey currently serves as the Intensive English Programs Coordinator at NAFSA: Association of International Educators since January 2024, while also working as a Lecturer and International Teacher Trainer at the University of South Carolina since August 2022. With experience as a TEFL Instructor at the International TEFL Academy from April 2021 to May 2024, an English Language Lecturer at Yaşar University from September 2021 to September 2022, and prior roles including English Foreign Language Teacher at İzmir Özel Türk Koleji and Spanish Teacher at Richland School District 2, Courtney has developed a robust background in language education. Additionally, Courtney held the position of Director of Foreign Languages and Immersion Programs at The Language Buzz from September 2012 to August 2015. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in English Language Learning from Northcentral University, a TEFL Certificate from the International TEFL Academy, an M.Ed. in English to Speakers of Other Languages from Concordia University, Nebraska, and a B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature from National University.
