Erica Laurel Stewart is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in advocacy and strategic communications, currently serving as Senior Director of Advocacy & Strategic Communications at NAFSA: Association of International Educators since October 2019. In this role, Erica directs the association's strategic communications and advocacy engagement while managing social media strategies and media outreach. Previously, Erica held multiple positions at the National Trust for Historic Preservation, including Senior Manager of Public Affairs, where responsibilities included broadening public awareness and developing advocacy strategies for historic preservation.
