Marina Reyes Huertas currently serves as a tutor in the Academic Support Program at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, where responsibilities include providing individualized tutoring to enhance students' communication skills and critical thinking. As a member and executive secretary of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists' student chapter at the university, Marina has demonstrated leadership within the organization. Previous experience includes assisting in production at Cadena Radio Universidad de Puerto Rico, where tasks involved drafting scripts and selecting relevant topics, and completing an internship in the Puerto Rico Hoy section of El Nuevo Día, with involvement in environmental and science sections. Marina is expected to complete a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Information and Journalism from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, in May 2024. Additional past positions include directing the Editorial Branch at Pulso Estudiantil and contributing as a member of the Editorial and Writing teams.
