Rachel Lenz

Rachel Lenz, CTRS, CPRP serves as the Executive Director of Macomb Park District since January 2017, emphasizing community enrichment through education, recreation, and open space opportunities. With a diverse background in recreational management, Rachel has also officiated women's basketball for NCAA and NAIA since 2012 and 2014, respectively, covering several conferences. Prior roles include Superintendent of Facilities and Special Events at Macomb Park District, where responsibilities involved overseeing operations, marketing, and special event implementation, and Director at McDonough County Special Recreation Association, focusing on community outreach and program development. Academically, Rachel holds a Master of Science in Recreation, Park and Tourism Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from Western Illinois University, also contributing as an adjunct professor in the field.
