Benoit CHAILLAN has worked for several companies since 2003. In 2009 they worked as a Tourneur Fraiseur for Ets Vargas. In 2010 they were an Assistant ingénieur - Mécanique Agricole for the University of South Australia. Benoit also worked as an Ouvrier in 2011 and 2010, and as a Conducteur d’engins agricoles in 2009. From 2012 to 2018 they worked for WANDFLUH SARL and PERA-PELLENC SA, where they held the role of Ingénieur projet and Ingénieur R&D, respectively. Since 2018, they have been employed by Naïo Technologies, where they have held the roles of Product Owner - System Engineering, Responsable nouvelles fonctionnalités & Support - Robot viticole (Ted) et maraichage (Oz), Product Owner - Tous produits - Ted, Dino et Oz, and Product Owner - Robot viticole Ted, as well as Référent Technique Viti.

Benoit CHAILLAN has a diverse educational background. Benoit began their studies in 2007, when they earned a DUT Génie Mécanique et Productique from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III. Benoit then went on to earn a Diplome d'ingénieur UTBM - EDIM in Mecanique & Ergonomie from UTBM in 2009-2012. In 2016, they completed an Ouvrier viticole Polyvalent from MFR Bel Aspect. Finally, they earned a Bac S - SVT from Lycée Victor Hugo - Lycée Rascol prior to 2007.
