Dr. Amer Jundi has a diverse work experience. Dr. Amer currently works as a Technical Consultant for Indexing and Information Retrieval (Arabic Language) at Dubai Islamic Bank since 2019. Prior to this, they founded an innovative software company called Nakkeb in 2011, where they worked on various areas such as data-mining, enterprise search, vertical search, and search algorithms. Nakkeb was also incubated by FasterCapital in the same year. Dr. Jundi has also worked as a Technical Consultant at Oracle from 2017 to 2019 and as a Freelance Consultant at Dubai Islamic Bank from 2016 to 2018. Dr. Amer has held academic positions as an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California from 2013 to 2016 and as a Visiting Assistant Professor at PRATT INSTITUTE from 2010 to 2012.
