Jaimielee Velasquez has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Jaimielee currently holds the position of Creative Director at NALEO Educational Fund since January 2021. Prior to this, Jaimielee worked as a Freelance Visual Designer providing services to various clients including Wilson Sporting Goods Co., VSA Partners, and Sisneros Strategies, among others. Jaimielee has experience in rebrand rollout, web transformation, UX design, POP signage, digital asset management, and social media graphics. Jaimielee also served as the Director of Marketing and Social Media at Bountiful Davis Art Center (BDAC) in 2020. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Senior Manager of Digital Initiatives at the Chicago Architecture Foundation and Art Director at Chicago Agent. Jaimielee began their career as a Graphic Design Intern at Morningstar in 2007. In total, they have demonstrated expertise in graphic design, marketing, social media, and digital initiatives.
Jaimielee Velasquez attended The Art Institutes from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Visual Communications.

The NALEO Educational Fund is the leading nonprofit organization that facilitates full Latino participation in the American political process, from citizenship to public service. The NALEO Educational Fund is a nonpartisan 501 (c)(3) organization first established in 1981, we carry out our mission through programs that integrate Latinos fully into American political society, provide professional development opportunities and technical assistance to the nation’s more than 6,000 Latino elected and appointed officials, and monitor and conduct advocacy on issues important to the Latino community and our political participation.
