Rosita Ramirez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in educational policy and constituency services. Currently serving as the National Director of Constituency Services at NALEO Educational Fund since October 2011, Rosita Ramirez oversees the design and implementation of education policy institutes and governance training for Latino elected officials nationwide. Previously, Rosita Ramirez worked as a Project Specialist at the University of Southern California's Center for Urban Education and served as an Academic Advisor for the Educational Opportunity Program at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Rosita Ramirez holds a Ph.D. in Cultural Perspectives and Comparative Education along with a M.A. in the same field, complemented by a Certificate of Professional Studies in Design Thinking from the University of California, Riverside.

The NALEO Educational Fund is the leading nonprofit organization that facilitates full Latino participation in the American political process, from citizenship to public service. The NALEO Educational Fund is a nonpartisan 501 (c)(3) organization first established in 1981, we carry out our mission through programs that integrate Latinos fully into American political society, provide professional development opportunities and technical assistance to the nation’s more than 6,000 Latino elected and appointed officials, and monitor and conduct advocacy on issues important to the Latino community and our political participation.
