Stefan Elbers

Stefan Elbers is an experienced professional in the field of safety engineering, currently serving as a Combined Operations Specialist at NAM BV Assen since August 2014, where responsibilities include coordinating offshore operations and preparing for drilling rig and work vessel visits. Previously, as a Technical Safety Engineer, Stefan supported both onshore and offshore Wells organizations on process safety issues. Before joining NAM, Stefan worked at Tebodin Netherlands B.V. as a Consultant in Industrial and External Safety from March 2007 to July 2014, focusing on safety studies and analyses in the oil and gas sector. Stefan's experience also includes a significant tenure at TNO as a Research Worker in External Safety, engaged in risk assessment projects involving dangerous goods. Stefan began the professional journey as a Trainee at Unocal Netherlands B.V. in 1994. Stefan holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Technology from Saxion University of Applied Sciences and further specialized as a Radiation Protection Expert through education at the University of Groningen.
