Axel Wehr

Axel Wehr has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Axel is a Co-founder at Namastay since May 2021 and an Advisor at EximPe since June 2021. Axel Wehr joined Hottinger in September 2021 as the Co-Head of Private Markets. Prior to that, they worked as a Venture Partner at Anterra Capital from September 2017. Axel was also a Partner at Firestartr starting from November 2014. Axel Wehr served as an Advisor at Fabric Ventures from October 2017 and as a Board Advisor at Lyre's Spirit Co from August 2019. Axel briefly worked as the Acting CFO at Experimental Group from February 2021 to July 2021. Axel Wehr started their career as an Associate at Bain Capital from July 2009 to April 2014, where they were involved in notable buy-outs and sales of various companies. Before that, they worked as a Summer Analyst at Morgan Stanley in 2008.

Axel Wehr completed their undergraduate studies from 2005 to 2009 at Princeton University, where they earned an A.B. degree from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, with a focus on Finance. In 2008, they briefly attended the University of Cape Town to study Economics. In 2015 and 2016, they pursued digital marketing studies at Squared Online without completing a specific degree.
