Senior Climate, Land, And Environmental Justice Officer: Global Programs at Namati

Anne Mumbi Njoroge is a legal professional with extensive experience in climate, land, and environmental justice. Currently serving as the Director of Legal Aid at the African Energy and Mining Management Initiative and a Senior Climate, Land, and Environmental Justice Officer for Global Programs at Namati, Anne's work includes building new programming focused on community land rights and climate adaptation. Anne has also held various roles at Natural Justice, including Programme Officer and Legal Fellow, where responsibilities encompassed legal empowerment and policy advocacy against harmful projects. In addition to current engagements, Anne is a Chevening Scholar pursuing a Masters of Laws (LLM) in the Low Carbon Just Transition at the University of Dundee and has undertaken further studies in renewable energy and strategic human rights litigation. Education credentials include a Bachelor of Laws from Kenyatta University and an Advocates Training Programme from the Kenya School of Law.
