Márcio Duarte

Márcio Duarte has extensive experience in human resources management. Márcio worked as the Head of HR Portugal at Namecheap, Inc starting in September 2019. Prior to that, they founded O Lado Humano in October 2018. Márcio served as the Human Resources Manager at Instituto Politécnico de Leiria from November 2010 to August 2019. In September and October 2018, they worked as a Social Sciences Trainer at IEFP. Earlier in their career, Márcio served as the Human Resources Manager at GRUPO NOV - Lena Construções Atlântico, S.A. from April 2009 to August 2010, and as a Human Resources technician from July 2005 to March 2009.

Márcio Duarte's education history includes the following:

1. In 2021, they completed a Negotiation Specialization Program at Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

2. In 2018, they obtained a Postgraduate 6 Sigma "Black Belt" from Polytechnic of Leiria, specializing in Process Engineering.

3. From 2000 to 2005, they attended ISLA - Instituto Politécnico de Gestão e Tecnologia, where they earned a Licentiate degree in Human Resources Management.

In addition to their formal education, Márcio Duarte has obtained additional certifications. In 2019, they became a Mentor through Pitch Bootcamp. Furthermore, in 2008, they obtained the Certificado de Aptidão Profissional (currently known as Certificado Competências Pedagógicas) from IEFP.
