Cara Chesney

Cara Chesney has extensive experience in the mental health sector, currently serving as the Department Director for Mental Health Clubhouses at NAMI San Diego since November 2019. Previous roles at NAMI include Program Manager, Housing Data Analyst, Lead Health Navigator, and Lead Health Educator. Prior to NAMI, Cara was a member of The Phi Beta Kappa Society from May 2016 to April 2022 and taught at Aurora Collegiate Academy from August 2017 to June 2019. Early career experience includes a position as Assistant Teacher at Scientific Adventure For Girls. Cara holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley, earned in 2016.
