Myra Wesley

Aqurruaq Myra Wesley is a NANA Regional Corporation, Inc. (NANA), director for Kivalina and has served on the board since 2014.

Raised by her grandparents, Wesley is dedicated to the traditional Iñupiat life of subsistence hunting and fishing. She works to share her knowledge with young people so they may “live in two worlds with one spirit.”

Wesley is a customer service agent for Bering Air, Inc. She previously coached the Kivalina Qavvik boys’ basketball team for Northwest Arctic Borough School District (NWABSD).
