Gia Hanna

Qimatchuq Gia Hanna is a NANA director who was elected to the at-large seat in 2022.

Qimatchuq’s work for NANA began in 1978. Until 2021, she worked for NANA as vice president of shareholder relations. She previously served on Red Dog Mine’s employment and training committee, the Northwest Arctic Leadership Team, the ANCSA shareholder relations committee, Northwest Arctic Borough’s COVID-19 task force, Alaska Federation of Natives convention committee and Alaska Technical Center advisory committee.
