Adolfo Carloni is an experienced professional in the field of nanotechnology and optical systems. Currently serving as the Scientific Director at NTP Nano Tech Projects srl since June 2016, Adolfo has contributed significantly to the company's initiatives. Previously, as the Founder and Chief Technical Officer at the same company from 2012 to June 2016, Adolfo was involved in developing optical systems for micrometric and partially nanometric imaging. Additional experience includes roles such as Technical Director Manager focused on research and development of USB laser microscopes and a Scientific Collaborator at Hospitex Diagnostics working on a laser optical platform for virus biosensing. Adolfo has also held positions at prestigious institutions like LENS and Cranfield University, contributing to advancements in laser imaging, biosensors, and electrochemical sensors. Adolfo holds a Ph.D. in Electrochemistry from ETH Zurich and a Master's degree in Industrial Chemistry from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
