Ashley Lo began their professional career in 2011 as a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow at the California Institute of Technology. Ashley then returned to the same institution in 2012 for another Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow role. In 2013, they took on an Engineering Intern role at Qualcomm MEMS Technologies. In 2015, Ashley Lo became an Academic Tutor at San Diego Tutor. Finally, from 2016 onwards, Ashley Lo has held both Staff Engineer and Microfluidic Device Fabrication Technician roles at NanoCellect Biomedical, Inc.
Ashley Lo completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Caltech between 2010 and 2015. Ashley then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from UC San Diego between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they attended Torrey Pines High School from 2006 to 2010. Ashley has also obtained certifications from Coursera in Factorial and Fractional Factorial Designs (2023) and Applied Plotting, Charting & Data Representation in Python, as well as a Food Handler Card from the County of San Diego (2022). Ashley is currently enrolled in Introduction to Data Science in Python through Coursera.
