Elizabeth Leary has a diverse work experience in the field of biomedical engineering. In 2018, they joined NanoCellect Biomedical, Inc. as a Global Technical Support & Training Manager and a Field Application Scientist. From 2012 to 2018, they were a Ph.D. Biomedical Engineering at Brown University's Morgan Lab, where they performed quantitative wide field fluorescent microscopy of 3D spheroids. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Research Assistant at NeoStem Inc, where they developed a protocol for isolating a rare stem cell population from an apheresis product and a flow cytometry-based biomarker panel to ascertain percentages of four different stem cell populations in peripheral blood. In 2011, they also served as a Research Intern at the Boston Biomedical Research Institute.
Elizabeth Leary obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Brown University in 2018. Elizabeth had previously obtained their Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University in 2009.
