Yuhwa Lo

Yuhwa Lo is a Scientific Advisor & Co-Founder at NanoCellect Biomedical. Yuhwa was previously a Technology Development Engineer Intern at BD from June 2019 to September 2019. Prior to that, they were a Graduate Student Researcher at University of California, San Diego - Jacobs School of Engineering from December 2017 to June 2022. Yuhwa has also held positions as a Summer Research Internship at UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering from June 2017 to September 2017, Part-time Student Researcher at University of California, San Diego - School of Medicine from May 2017 to December 2017, and Research Assistant at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from May 2016 to July 2016.

Dr. Yuhwa Lo received their PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Medical Devices & Systems) from UC San Diego. Yuhwa also holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Medical Devices & Systems) from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) & Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Electrical Engineering & Human Resources Management from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In addition, they have completed certification programs in AI for Medical Diagnosis, Deep Neural Networks with PyTorch, Python Data Structures, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera.
