Lauren Taber

Lauren Taber is the co-founder of nanochomp. Lauren was previously the Marketing Director at e-conolight, the $100M e-commerce division of Cree Lighting. Lauren was responsible for overseeing the marketing and web teams for e-conolight.com.

Some of their accomplishments include creating the division's first marketing strategy, corresponding KPIs and budget, identifying gaps in customer experience on owned properties, and overseeing implementation of enhancements. Lauren also worked directly with the head of product management to help develop go-to-market strategies, third party supplier relationships and marketing plans to address new product introductions, stock-out and slow moving inventory scenarios.

In addition, Lauren oversaw creation of customer personae to help personalize marketing content and drive conversion. Lauren also created group's first brand guidelines, leveraging primary and secondary data to develop target audience, value proposition and visual identity. Furthermore, they established acquisition, retention and loyalty strategy via digital email prospecting, paid social, display and direct mail, with initiatives paying for themselves after just three months.

Additionally, Lauren created the team's first influencer program to target tangential audiences and increase acquisition, with all programs paying for themselves in the first month. Lauren also developed social media strategy, delivering an average $70 ROAS month-over-month. Lauren also oversaw pay-per-click program, delivering an average ~$1.1M/month in revenue.

Lauren initiated A/B testing strategy for print and digital initiatives, with the findings saving $35,000/month, which was reallocated to more efficient tactics. Lauren successfully implemented Agile methodologies in the marketing team, doubling output with fewer resources. Lauren also oversaw all public relations, creative, SEO, social media and creative agencies. Lastly, they managed activity of web team, copywriter, project manager, digital designer and print designer.

Lauren Taber has a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication with an Advertising Sequence from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
