Sanjay Jha

Sanjay Jha is a seasoned executive with extensive board experience across various organizations, including serving as a Board Member at Element Resources Inc. and Cerence Inc. since 2020 and 2019, respectively. Jha holds significant positions on the Board of Trustees at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies and as a member of the Board of Advisors for the Faculty of Engineering at the University of California San Diego and the Hacioglu Data Science Institute UCSD. With a proven track record in leadership, Jha has also contributed as a Board Member for companies like Anello Photonics and Natron Energy. Jha is the Co-Founder and Co-Managing Partner of Snowcloud Capital and previously held the role of Chairman of the Board at Crocus Technology. Jha earned a PhD in Digital Signal Processing from the University of Strathclyde, where an honorary D.Sc. was also awarded. Additionally, Jha was recognized as a Member of the National Academy of Engineering in 2018.
