Pauwel de Smedt

Pauwel De Smedt is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in brand management, currently serving as Senior Director for Oral Care in Europe at Procter & Gamble since October 2012. Over the years, Pauwel has held multiple leadership roles including Brand Director for various product lines within the Oral Care and Fabric Care sectors across Europe. Key responsibilities have included managing significant brands such as Dash, Fairy Non-Bio, and Dreft in various markets. In addition to a robust career at Procter & Gamble, Pauwel also serves as a Board Member at nanogrid, and previously held leadership positions including Secretary of the Treasury and Culture Praeses at VTK Gent vzw, as well as PR Officer for IAESTE Belgium. Educationally, Pauwel graduated with a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Ghent University.
