Clint Potter

Founder & Scientific Advisor at NanoImaging Services

For over 20 years, Clint has focused on advancing electron microscopy methods for cryo-EM through automation. In collaboration with Bridget Carragher, Clint has been instrumental in developing tools such as the Leginon and Appion software programs, as well as the Spotiton/Chameleon instrument to improve cryo-EM sample vitrification. He and Bridget co-founded NIS in 2007, where Clint served as its President and CEO until 2021. Along with Bridget, he serves as Co-Director of the Simons Electron Microscopy Center, part of the New York Structural Biology Center.
