Edem D.

Edem D. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and academia. Currently serving as Team Lead for Sensor Mechanical Design in the Research & Development Sensors Group at Nanometrics Inc since January 2018, Edem oversees the design and support of mechanical components, manages a team of engineers, and collaborates on sensor technology innovation. Edem has also been a part-time professor at the University of Ottawa since September 2018, teaching advanced topics in BioPhotonics. Prior experience includes research roles and teaching positions at the University of Toronto and the University of Ottawa, as well as project management and consulting roles in various organizations. Edem holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto, along with multiple degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Computing Technology from the University of Ottawa.
