Emrah Alpsan

Emrah Alpsan has a diverse and extensive work experience. Emrah currently holds the position of Director of Business Development at Nanometrics Inc, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada as a Business Development Manager for Land & Joint Solutions from February 2020 to March 2023. Before that, they served as an Account Executive at MDS Aero Support Corporation from July 2019 to February 2020. Emrah Alpsan also has international experience, working as a Senior International Business Development Leader at FNSS Savunma Sistemleri A.Ş. from January 2017 to May 2019. At Aselsan, they held various roles including International Portfolio Manager, Business & Market Development Manager, and International Business Development Manager from 2009 to 2016. Emrah began their career as a Thermal Design Engineer at Aselsan in 2004 and later worked as a Coordination Engineer at IMTEKS for a short period.

Emrah Alpsan holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2008. Prior to their Master's Degree, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, graduating between 1999 and 2004. Emrah also attended ODTÜGV Özel Lisesi from 1996 to 1999, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown.

In addition to their formal education, Emrah holds several certifications. In August 2016, they completed the course "International Leadership and Organizational Behavior" by Bocconi University, for which they received a certificate from Coursera Course Certificates. In September 2014, Emrah obtained the certification of "Advanced Open Water Diver" from PADI. Recently, in January 2022, they achieved the recognition of "Project Management Professional (PMP)" from the Project Management Institute.
