Zeldi Snyman

Zeldi Snyman has over fifteen years of experience in the financial sector, with a focus on operations and cross-border payments. Zeldi is currently the VP of Operations at nanopay, a FinTech company that specializes in secure digital transactions. Prior to their current role, Snyman spent twelve years at Standard Bank Group, where they were responsible for the outward cross border payment processing department. During their time at Standard Bank Group, they drove numerous initiatives that improved process automation, digitization, and risk management. Zeldi also oversaw the centralization of services and the organizational restructure of the department. Before Standard Bank Group, Snyman worked as a business analyst at Absa Capital, where they documented business requirements and test packs for various international payment projects. Snyman’s experience and expertise in the financial sector have made their an invaluable asset to nanopay.

After completing a B.Sc in Biological Sciences from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, Zeldi Snyman pursued an MBA in Finance from Bond University. Zeldi then completed a Fintech Bootcamp Certificate from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. Snyman has also completed several Coursera courses in Application of AI, Cryptocurrency and Blockchain, Financial Technology, Lending, and Change Management. In addition, they have also been certified by the Association for Project Management in Prince2 Foundation and Practitioner Certification.

They work with Simon Keogh - Chief Product Officer, Nadir Samji - VP, Fraud Strategy, Risk & Payments, and Kevin Greer - Chief Technology Officer. Zeldi Snyman reports to Laurence Cooke, Founder & CEO.
