Tafadzwa Motsi, PhD, is the COO and Co-Founder of NANOPLUME, specializing in advanced biomaterials to enhance energy efficiency through the production of next-generation super-insulation biomaterials since September 2024. Previously, Motsi held senior roles at the Advanced Propulsion Centre UK as both Snr Investor Relations Manager and Snr Programme Delivery Manager, focusing on fostering investor relationships and supporting clean mobility startups. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Process & Project Lead at FiberLean Technologies Ltd, where Motsi contributed to the commercialization of biodegradable composite materials, and as Senior Process Engineer at Imerys, co-inventing a process for producing nanocomposite materials. Motsi's engineering background includes significant contributions to carbon capture technology at Doosan Power Systems and a diverse range of roles in chemical engineering. Motsi's academic credentials include a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, an MBA from the University of Warwick, and additional qualifications in Power Plant Engineering.
