Ethan Otash

Ethan Otash is a Chemical Engineering student at Northeastern University, expected to graduate in 2024. Currently serving as the Captain of the AIChE ChemE Car competition team, Ethan leads a group of 30 students in designing a car powered by chemical reactions. Previous experience includes a Process Engineering Co-Op at Inkbit, where Ethan developed a novel recycling system that significantly reduced downtime and material costs. In 2022, during a Co-Op at Ambri, Ethan conducted chemical analysis of liquid metal battery cells and performed experiments to optimize electrochemical potential. Earlier research experience at Northeastern University involved studying the molecular structure of antiballistic polymers. Education also includes a high school diploma from Ridge High School.
