Peter Garbes

Peter Garbes is an experienced information systems engineering professional with a diverse background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Information Systems Engineering Director at NanoString Technologies, Inc. since January 2019, Peter previously held significant roles at Big Fish Games, where responsibilities included driving strategy for Release Engineering and Database Administration, as well as enabling scalable continuous software releases. Peter's career also includes positions at eCube Systems, Rosetta Biosoftware, Borland, and Open Environment Corporation, highlighting expertise in software development, quality assurance, and enterprise applications. Peter holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and was a participant in the Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Sciences.
