Edward Nelson

Edward Nelson is a Technical Sales Engineer at Nanosurf since January 2015, where consultation with over 100 research teams has resulted in more than 30% year-over-year growth through customized AFM solutions. Previously, Edward served as an Applications and Support Scientist, focusing on pre-sales measurements and technical training, and also held the position of General Manager for US Operations, overseeing commercial strategy and customer expansion. Edward's academic background includes a PhD and MA in Physics from the University of Rochester, alongside a BA in Physics, Mathematics, and Spanish from Hamilton College. Additional experience includes a postdoctoral role at the University of Notre Dame in experimental nano-biophysics and prior positions as a course coordinator and lecturer at the Rochester Institute of Technology, and a research assistant at the University of Oslo.
