Jonathan Avesar has a diverse range of work experience in the scientific and research field. Jonathan began their career at the West Wireless Health Institute as a Development Intern in 2011. Jonathan then worked as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Dr. Valentine Vullev Research Group from 2011 to 2012.

In 2012, they joined the Dr. Shulamit Levenberg Research Group as a Graduate Student Researcher and worked there until 2018. During this time, they also collaborated with the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering on research projects from 2015 to 2016.

In 2018, Jonathan joined Nanosynex as an Inventor & Scientist, and in 2019, they joined Lever VC as a Scientific Advisor. Their work experience demonstrates their expertise and commitment to scientific research and development in various roles and organizations.

Jonathan Avesar completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside, from 2008 to 2012. Jonathan then pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, starting in 2012 and completing it in 2014. Jonathan Avesar further continued their education at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from 2012 to 2018.
