Hardy Sullivan

EVP at Nanotex

As Executive Vice President, Hardy leads international growth efforts, including launching Crypton in Europe and heading Nanotex’s global operations. Hardy’s career has centered around customers, product innovation and business development. For the past twelve years Hardy worked at Crypton with the team of chemists and engineers that developed industry leading moisture and flame barriers, water and oil repellent finishes, non-fluorinated stain prevention, and anti-graffiti stain-release for coated fabrics. During this time Crypton re-invented its upholstery offering and expanded into wall and mattress fabrics, leather and coated fabrics (PVC).

Prior to Crypton, Hardy was the Senior Director of Design and Development at Collins and Aikman where his team introduced new yarns, fabric structures and finishing techniques. He is on the NSF/ANSI 336 joint committee that developed the industry’s sustainability standard for commercial furnishing fabrics, is Vice President of the Synthetic Yarn and Fabric Association and serves on technical committees for the National Council of Textile Organizations.

He has a BS in Textile Management from NC State University and a MS in Textile Technology from the Institute of Textile Technology.
