Elena Molokanova, PhD

Elena Molokanova, PhD has a long and varied work experience. Elena began their career in 1993 as a Senior Scientist at the Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck. In 1995, they became an Instructor at the University of Miami. In 2000, they moved to the University of California, Berkeley, where they held the role of Instructor. In 2002, they were hired by Amgen as a Scientist II. In 2005, they joined Invitrogen as a Senior Scientist. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Principal at Biotech EM Consulting. Elena then moved to the Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, where they were a Staff Scientist from 2011 to 2015. Finally, in 2019, they became the Chief Executive Officer of NeurANO Bioscience.

Elena Molokanova obtained their M.S. Summa cum laude in Physics from the National University in Dnipro, Ukraine. Elena then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biological Sciences (Biophysics / Neuroscience) from the Bogomoletz Institute of Physiology in Kyiv, Ukraine.
