Nanotronics
Oleg Alferov has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 1997. Oleg began as a Researcher at the Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology in 1997. In 1999, they moved to Argonne National Laboratory as an Assistant Mathematician, where they conducted analysis of genomics information, modelling, and development of optical instruments. In 2008, they joined Complete Genomics Inc. as a Sr. Computational Research Scientist, where they conducted combinatorial analysis of genomics information and mapped the Human genome. Since 2017, they have been a Software Engineer at Nanotronics, where they create algorithms and tools for hardware calibration, tuning, and testing, as well as software for custom industrial robots and equipment, and hardware to computer interfaces.
Oleg Alferov obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics and Mathematics from the Institute for Problems in Mechanics RAS in Moscow, Russia between 1995 and 1999.
