Alan Kraft has had a varied career since 2016. Alan began as a self-employed carpenter, designing and crafting handmade wood furniture. In 2018, they took on the role of Undergraduate Research Assistant at Purdue University. In 2019, they became a Research and Development Engineer and Research and Development Engineer Intern at Nanovis, working on bioelectric research and turning that research into novel technology to be used in healthcare. In 2020, they joined Atlas Energy Systems, Inc. as a Senior Design Project, designing an optimized thermionic energy conversion system.

Alan Kraft attended Warren Township High School from 2012 to 2016, where they earned their High School Diploma. Alan then attended Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2016, though they did not earn a degree. Finally, they attended Purdue University from 2016 to 2021, where they earned their Bachelors of Nuclear Engineering in the field of Nuclear Engineering.
