Rick Laferriere

Rick Laferriere is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in trading and management within the hedge fund industry. Currently serving as Head of Trading at Nantahala Capital Management since September 2024, Rick has previously held senior roles, including Partner and Head of Trading at JAT Capital Management LP, COO and CFO at Trivariate Capital Management, and Managing Director at Tiger Management. Rick began a distinguished career in trading at Lehman Brothers and has a strong academic background, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Psychology from Williams College and an MBA with a concentration in Accounting from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
