Chan Wei Chuen is the Registrar at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Chan was previously the Chief Operating Officer at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine from January 2011 to December 2019. Wei Chuen was responsible for establish and leading the corporate and administrative functions of LKCMedicine, as well as driving organisational excellence through major administrative initiatives. Chan also provided strategic leadership and established and ensured proper governance within the School. In addition, Wei Chuen maintained key external working relationships with stakeholders such as the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, public and private hospitals in Singapore, senior academic staff at Imperial College London, as well as other senior leaders at other Universities. Lastly, Wei Chuen developed, reviewed and drove improvements in the School’s structure, system, policies, processes and work to enhance organisational effectiveness.
Chan Wei Chuen completed a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Science (Logistics and Supply Chain Management) from National University of Singapore. Chan also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical and Production) from National University of Singapore.
