Lei Wei

Lei Wei is an accomplished researcher and academic, currently serving as an Associate Professor at Nanyang Technological University since September 2014. Previous experience includes a role as Assistant Professor at the same institution and a Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from September 2010 to August 2014, where significant contributions included pioneering work on crystalline semiconductor core fibers and junction structures. Prior to this, Lei Wei worked as a Research Assistant at the Technical University of Denmark, focusing on tunable fiber devices and integrating liquid crystal photonic structures. Educational qualifications consist of a Ph.D. in Optics from the Technical University of Denmark, an M.Sc. in Microsystem, MEMS from the University of South-Eastern Norway, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology.
