Janet Casey

Janet Casey has been employed in the education sector since 2014. Janet began their career at San Jose State University as the Managing Editor in 2014. In 2016, they joined the Napa Valley Wine Academy and has since held five roles there, including Director of Curriculum & Development, Lead Instructional Designer, Education Manager, Diploma Advisor, and Student Advisor.

Janet Casey earned a Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) from San Jose State University in 2016, where their field of study was Educational/Instructional Media Design. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Linguistics & Cultural Studies; French Language & Literature from Seattle Pacific University in 2012. Additionally, they are a Master of Wine Stage 1 Student at the Institute of Masters of Wine. In August 2019, they obtained a WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines & Spirits from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust.
